The Core Problem We Address
Panic disorder is maintained by fear of fear.
The body reacts → sensations appear → those sensations are interpreted as dangerous → panic escalates → avoidance reinforces the cycle.
This intensive targets the exact mechanisms that keep panic alive, including:
Fear of bodily sensations
Avoidance and safety behaviors
Loss of trust in the body
Hypervigilance and anticipatory anxiety
What Makes This Intensive Different
This is not coping skills alone.
The Freedom from Panic Intensive focuses on:
Interoceptive exposure (learning through experience that sensations are safe)
Situational exposure (approaching avoided situations with structure)
Cognitive and acceptance-based strategies that reduce fear of fear
A personalized Panic Recovery Plan
You will not be pushed or flooded.
This is gradual, therapist-guided exposure, grounded in decades of research.
